Who I Am
Hi, I am Sylvie and I believe photography is about more than beautiful pictures. It is about creating something that feels true to you and that you will want to hold onto for years to come.
I first discovered photography as a teenager, with a camera in hand and a sense that the world was full of moments that needed to be remembered . That feeling has never left me. I went on to study Photography and Videography at the University of Buenos Aires, but the real thrill began later when I became a mum. Suddenly, it was not just about the special moments like first steps or birthdays but also about the quiet everyday, what all of us usually take for granted and oversee. Those moments taught me that photographs are not just for the big events, they are for the stories we live every day.
Memories are our most valuable assets, and photographs are the windows that take us there.
With over eighteen years of experience I now bring that same heart into every session, it could be while I am photographing a family at home, a newborn’s first days, a wedding celebration, children at their nursery, or a professional portrait for an individual or a business. My style is natural and approachable and my goal is always to make you feel at ease so I can photograph who you really are.
